Overlooking the croquet lawn and pétanque court, the Centre boasts a well-appointed kitchen. WHO WAS 'BEOLITE'
The village was named in honour of Beolite, who was a remarkable indigenous leader of the Taungurung (Upper Goulburn) people. Beolite displayed great leadership and made a significant contribution to the High Country. The land around was also called Beolite, his eldest son was named Barwite and his lubra was Delatite.
